Learn the art of leather bag making with award-winning craftsperson Jo Heard. This hands-on 2 day course is designed for students with prior stitching experience. Under the expert guidance of Jo, renowned saddler, leather artisan and educator, you’ll craft your own high-quality leather bag to take home.

This course fee is £175 (plus the cost of materials).

Other Information
Course participants will need to have some prior stitching experience and are expected to have a set of basic tools. A list of these will be provided upon booking. If you are coming from abroad we can provide a set of tools for the duration of the workshop.
At the end of this course you will have your own handmade leather bag to take away with you.
About Your Instructor: Jo Heard:
Jo has been a leading figure in the leathercraft industry since 2008. Traditionally trained as a saddler through the Cordwainers Diploma at Capel Manor College, she further honed her craft through the Modern and Millennium apprenticeship schemes run by City & Guilds and the Society of Master Saddlers.
A multi-award-winning artisan, Jo’s commitment to quality and precision has made her a highly sought-after instructor.
