Tool Sharpening & Maintenance
This one-day course is designed for leatherworkers of all skill levels who want to learn how to sharpen, adjust, and maintain their tools effectively. Whether you are new to leatherworking or an experienced artisan, maintaining your tools is essential for achieving precision and extending their lifespan.
Participants will learn through expert demonstrations in the morning, followed by a hands-on session in the afternoon to apply the techniques taught. The course is ideal for those looking to improve the quality of their work and gain confidence in their tool care and maintenance skills.

Other Information
Participants should bring their own tools to work on during the hands-on session. Trees, leather, and other materials are not required for this course. Small 16” strop boards are availabe for purchase and we will show you how to prepare the strop with carborundum and tallow.
