Advanced Harness (Level 3)

Prior to Week 1, participants join an online tutorial about harness and design. Start thinking about design in preparation for Week 1

Level 3 Harness is a follow on from Level 2. Parts of the Level 2 test can be used for Level 3, this all depends on the design the student chooses. Those that are aiming to just jump through the hoop of taking the test will keep it as simple as possible. Those that are ambitious will aim much higher, which will be great and the course is aimed towards them. Depending on people’s skill and circumstances 7 weeks can be enough but 7 weeks is the bare minimum teaching needed and is challenging but possible.

Advanced Harness

The participants will need to do a lot of homework, that’s why we start with traces and backband which involve a lot of (hand) stitching. For some more workshop time is needed. We can arrange an optional weeks 8 and 9 –  weeks without lectures but workshop time to ask questions, get help and get things finished.

There needs to be plenty time between the teaching weeks, so the 7 weeks would be spread over 12 months
