Intermediate Bridle
Intermediate Bridle is a 5 week intensive course during which students will be prepared to take the C&G Skills Test. It builds on the Foundation Course and is the precursor to the Intermediate Harness and Advanced Bridle Courses.
The first 2 weeks cover a lot of basic bridle making skills. With these skills students can start to make plain but safe to use bridles on a professional level. Learning how to cut a bridle from a hide will inform essential learning. Students will have progressed beyond the C&G Level 2 Bridle minimum skill requirements by the end of Week 2 and can make the skills test specification bridle at home.
Duration, Fee and Bursary Support
The course fee for each week is £650
Students attend one week each month allowing them time to digest what they have learned and practise. Proficiency will depend on natural ability, previous experience and how much homework is done. Bursary support is available to help with the course fees for eligible applicants. Once offered a place you will be asked to pay a deposit of £200 to secure your place.
