Intermediate Harness

This course builds on the assumption that students have completed the Intermediate Bridle. It is achievable in 2 weeks if students have become proficient at the end of the Intermediate Bridle.

The new learning in this course is the Dock.  Students will need at least 2-3 weeks between Week 1 and Week 2, working and practicing at home to become proficient in the skills taught.

Duration, Fee and Bursary Support

The course is 2 weeks with two weeks in between each week.

The course fee is £1,400.

The course runs twice a year in Spring and Autumn.

Bursary support is available to help with the course fee for eligible applicants.  Once offered a place you will be asked to pay a deposit of £200 to secure your place.  The balance of the fee needs to be paid before you start training.

Level 2 Skills Test Handbook

To support students doing this course the course tutor will run a WhatsApp group to enable real time questions and requests for guidance in between workshop learning. Short videos demonstrating techniques will be available to students.

Students will need to have suitable facilities and their own tools and clams in order to be able to work at home and practise. Students who wish to obtain the relevant qualification for this course will be registered for the C&G Skills Test for which a registration fee is payable.

Materials for the course will be supplied at cost or students may bring their own.
