In the early 1990s, Frances returned to Cordwainers College as a lecturer, teaching harness and bridle making for four years. From 1996 until 2023, she served as Master Saddler at the Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace. During her later years there, she also developed her own saddlery workshop, producing a wide range of bespoke leather goods, including bridles, dog collars, military belts, and fishing rod cases.
