Pattern Principles for Shoemaking (2 Day Course)
Pattern cutting sits at the heart of shoemaking, translating the three-dimensional form of the last into precise two-dimensional components which can be cut, assembled and shaped into a finished upper. It is a discipline which underpins every style of footwear, from the simplest constructions through to the most complex bespoke work.
This two-day course introduces the fundamental principles of shoemaking patterns, providing a clear and structured starting point for those looking to understand how footwear design is developed in practice.
